4th of July Nail+ Makeup+ Outfit!

Swimming, bonfires, barbecues and fireworks! Lots and lots of fireworks! It must be time for the Fourth of July! The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays because I love watching fireworks and spending time with friends and family. An explosion of beautiful colors in the sky is just so mesmerizing to me. Plus I love to celebrate living in a country where I have the freedom to be anyone and do anything I want with my life. I wanted to go all out this Fourth of July, so I decided to show my patriotism by being festive. I came up with a fireworks inspired nail design, festive makeup look and red, white and blue outfit. This fourth of July I'm going to be attending a barbecue, watching a fireworks show with my friend, Ciera and setting off fireworks with Ciera, my family and my boyfriend. It's going to be a blast! 

Firework Nails Design

You'll need a red, white and blue polish for this tutorial. 

Polishes Used:

Red Polish: Nicole by O.P.I. in Please Red-Cycle

White: Essie in the color Blanc

Blue: Sinful Colors in #1052 Endless Blue

You'll also need a top coat and dotting tool.

Products Used:

Top Coat: O.P.I.

Nail Dotter: Essence from Ulta

Step 1. Paint all of your nails white

Step 2. Place a dot in the top or bottom corner of your nail with your dotting tool

 Step 3. Place a circle of dots around the first dot with the dotting tool

Step 4. Draw lines around the circle of dots to finish creating your firework

Here is the finished look of the blue fireworks. Now repeat these steps with your red polish to create the red fireworks. Place the red fireworks on the other corner of your nails. It's okay if the colors overlap each other.

 My outfit incorporates pieces that I found in my own closet. I wanted to be festive while still being affordable, so I chose red, white and blue pieces. This is a great way to show your spirit without spending money on a new american flag shirt. Anyone can recreate this look with clothes from there own closets!
